April 2005 Updates

4.28.05 - Fullmetal Alchemist Manga Artbook Scans

Well, I had gotten my Fullmetal Alchemist manga illustration book a bit earlier than I had thought, and then I spent a week working on it on and off, then I waited a while to add it to the site. ^_^

There are a total of seventy-one scans from the artbook, and all of them are from the manga as mentioned. Well, most of them. All scans that are from chapter four of the book are for the Broken Angel PS2 game character designs. The book covers Arakawa's illustrations from May of 2001 through April 2003 (some of her later illustrations can be found in the Comic Special Calendar 2005 section).

There are a total of 12 splices. Being as these took me from an hour to more than an hour to complete, credit is mandatory on those 12. All others I only care about credit if you use a good amount of them.

Well, that's it for today. I'm going to probably add some scans from the actual manga later, but I don't know when that'll be. Next week is finals, so don't expect me to update again until I'm finished with my classes. Enjoy the scans, they have high resolutions. ;)

4.15.05 - It's tax day, here's some Cardcaptor Sakura Screenies

Gasp, an update without FMA!? Well, it's about time I added some more Cardcaptor Sakura screencaps, I haven't added any since January. Anyway, I added 148 screencaps for episode 21. This episode features the group doing a long distance race, and the Loop card. I'll get episode twenty-two up sometime. I've been slacking lately on CCS.

It turns out I'll probably get my FMA artbook next week, which is a couple weeks earlier than I had thought. So scans for that may be up earlier than I had expected. It all depends on how busy I am with school, I only have three weeks left.

4.9.05 - Fanart and a scan...

Added yet another piece of fanart, this time by a new artist. It's on page nine.

I also added one additional scan to the Fullmetal Alchemist Comic Special Calendar 2005 page. I had scanned the front of the stationary that came with it, but not the back. So now the back of the stationary is up as well.

I also finally ordered the manga artbook, so I should get that in a couple weeks (was backordered). So whenever I get it and then spend an insane amount of time mutilating it to splice the scans together, I'll add it to the site. It should get here once my spring semester is over, so I'll have time after finals to do some scanning. >_>

4.2.05 - Fanart

I updated the fanart section with two drawings by a returning artist, they're on page 8. They're quite good, so check them out.

Just a note, to date there have been 164 submissions by 44 artists. I'm happy that the section is doing so well, as when it started very few submitted. It has taken years for it to get to where it is now. ^_^
