October 2005 Updates

10.15.05 - I'm alive...so here's a big update!

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but I didn't die. I just didn't feel like working on the site, as well as a few distractions. This is going to be a big update, so let's get started.

Two new series have been added to the site, as well as a new layout. The new layout is for one of the series, D.Gray-man. The layout features Allen Walker and Linali Li (or Rinali) from Jump Revolution and volume three's cover.

I had added D.Gray-man content to my other site well over a month ago, and my layouts over there have been similiar to this one. If you've read the series, you should have noticed checker patterns scattered around. It just fits to me, so that's why I've been using it quite a bit.

D.Gray-man is a 6 + volume manga by Hoshino Katsura and runs in Shonen Jump (it's not an anime). The series is licensed by Viz, but it won't be released in English until May of next year. For it I added 67 scans from chapters one and two from the first volume, including the cover, mock cover, flaps, and extra pages. I should add some more soon, as well as scans from the comic calendar whenever I get it in the mail. I think these are some of the best quality manga scans I've done for the site, there are a ton of full page scans in there.

The other series I added to the site is Fruits Basket. This is one of my absolute favorite series, so I'm happy to add it to the site. For it I added 572 screencaps for the first three episodes (plus opening), I'll also be adding manga scans pretty soon as well. I read the manga first and I've only seen a bit of the anime, so expect more of the manga soon.

For old series, I added 149 screencaps for episode 24 of Cardcaptor Sakura. I'm planning on adding some more scans from volume 10 of FMA as well as some more screencaps not too far off. For FMA I'm planning on doing the first 9 volumes from Viz's version and from volumes 10 plus from the tankoubons. I'm also going to be adding screencaps for the first episode of Black Cat pretty soon.

Well, that's it for now. I hope the 788 new images and layout can make up for my slacking. Remember to refresh the page if things look weird. ;)
